Australian Actress Maggie Kirkpatrick Found Guilty of Sexually Assaulting Teenage fan

Australian actress Maggie Kirkpatrick is due to be sentenced today after being found guilty yesterday of sexually assaulting a teenager in Melbourne in the 1980s.

Police allege Maggie collected a 14-year-old girl from a psychiatric hospital one night in either June or July of 1984, took her to her Prahran home and sexually assaulted her.

Detective Senior Constable Katherine Mitchell told the court the alleged victim said the NSW actress was “most disappointed” she was not experienced in a sexual way.

The victim, who cannot be named, did not report the alleged abuse because she feared people would think she was crazy.

A witness who had gone to school with the alleged victim, told the court she was obsessed with the Prisoner TV show and had been very excited when she received an invitation to meet Maggie.
