Thankyou Are So Convinced You’ll Love Their New and Improved Nappies, If They Don’t ‘Get You Through the Night,’ They’ll Send You a Box of Huggies!

In partnership with Thankyou

Until you’ve had the pleasure of changing a baby’s nappy, you can’t appreciate what horrors those angelic-faced little people are capable of unleashing into their nappy. So, most of us, find a brand that we can trust to minimise those ‘poo-nami’s or ‘pee-kage’ and we are loathe to even make eye-contact with any other brand on the supermarket shelf. Fair enough too! When you consider how many nappies a baby can go through in a single day, keeping them in nappies can be a considerable cost, and many of us would rather stick to what we know.

But all that could be about to change. Thankyou are offering parents a no-risk opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and try their nappies.

The Thankyou Letter to Parents with Kids in Nappies

Dear parents with kids in nappies,

The results are in – Thankyou makes the best nappies you’ve never tried.

We know what you’re thinking – that’s a pretty big call. But hear us out.

Independent feedback from Aussie parents who use other nappy brands showed that after trialling our new and improved nappy they’d recommend Thankyou with the leading brands, with majority saying they’d now buy Thankyou nappies. We also found only 8% of you have purchased Thankyou nappies, which means 92% of you haven’t tried one of the best nappies on the market. Pretty crazy hey?

But numbers are boring, and buying a new nappy brand is a massive risk. So we’re making you a promise:

We’ll get you through the night*

Even if we have to send you a box of Huggies

If you try and love our Thankyou nappy, then your child not only has one of the best on the market, but you’re also helping to fund safe births and healthcare for mums and bubs in need.

If you’re still not a fan, we’ll deliver a box of Huggies to your door. Just head to www.thankyou.co/throughthenight and follow the steps.

You could call it a win-win.

Love Thankyou

P.s. We chose Huggies because they’re the current market leader and make a good nappy. Some of the team think they’ll take it as a compliment, other’s aren’t so sure. We hope the first group are right.

We Enlisted a Parent with a Kid in Nappies to Trial the Thankyou Nappies

As you know, at Mums Lounge we refuse to promote brands or products that we don’t believe in or haven’t tried for ourselves. We like to give you as many facts and informed opinions as possible to empower you to make a choice that’s best for you and your family. We certainly don’t want any night time explosions or wet cot mattresses on our conscience, so we enlisted the help of Adelaide mother Cassandra and her 5 month old son Rémi to run Thankyou nappies through their paces for us. Here’s what Cassandra had to say:

I had heard of the Thankyou brand before and we use their hand wash at home. I had seen the Thankyou nappies at the shop but never thought to use them over my normal brand as usually the cheaper nappies and less known brands don’t normally pass the overnight leakage test. So when I was asked to review the Thankyou nappies I was very sceptical and was sure they wouldn’t be as good as the brand I normally use.

My initial thought was that while I really liked the modern pattern on the nappies they are a lot thinner than the brand I normally buy so I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to take the “heavy loads”. Turns out there was no need to worry as my little one went the full 12 hours with no leakage overnight!

One of the great differences that the Thankyou nappies have over my normal brand is that they are a lot longer/higher in the back, this was an outfit saver when my little one had one of his many “explosions”.

The thinner style nappy also sits under his outfits much better than my normal brand which make him look a little bulky, and the outfits a bit tighter.

I loved that the side tabs on the front of the Thankyou nappies are also a lot longer than other brands, it made it a lot easier to do the nappies up while he was wriggling around on the change table.

The Thankyou nappies are $2 dollars cheaper than my normal brand for the Jumbo 90 nappies box and I like the fact that 100% of the profit helps safe births and healthcare for  mums and bubs in need.

The only negative is that they don’t have a wetness indicator on the front like other brands.

At the end of the day nappies are expensive and if my normal brand was on sale and a lot cheaper than the Thankyou nappies I would be swayed to buy the nappies on sale but otherwise I would be happy to keep buying the Thankyou brandover my normal brand and would recommend them to my friends, which surprised me as I am usually quite loyal to the brands that I typically buy.

Need another reason to try the Thankyou brand of nappies? As Cassandra mentions above, Thankyou commits 100% of profit to help end global poverty, with over $5.8 million committed to date. Within this their baby range has funded safe births and healthcare for 94,477 mums and bubs in Nepal and Zimbabwe. Now, that it definitely something worth getting behind (pun intended).

But hurry, if you want to take advantage of this offer you’ll have to be quick as it ends Thursday May 31st2018. Offer is valid for Thankyou nappies purchased instore or online at Coles, Woolworths (RRP $28) or Baby Bunting (RRP $33). If you don’t have great experience you can visit www.thankyou.co/throughthenight to claim the redemption offer. Terms and conditions apply.

TIP: Don’t forget to keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
