Jason Momoa Takes On The Role Of PE Teacher While Homeschooling His Kids!
Let’s be honest here, if there’s one celebrity who was born to be a P.E. teacher it would have to be Jason Momoa! The Aquaman star is currently in quarantine with wife Lisa Bonet and their children 12 year old daughter Lola and 11 year old son Wolf.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres via video chat, the actor says he’s been loving self isolation at home with the family. “We’ve had a really nice time. I rarely get to be home, so it’s pretty special,” he says. “There’s a lot of things. We’ve got skateboard ramps and climbing walls and throwing tomahawks and shooting bow and arrow, so we have a little bit of space. I feel very thankful. It’s just nice being home. I’m never home.”
Jason continued by saying son Wolf is already home schooled but he’s loving the opportunity to be able to help them both with their homework. It comes as no surprise though, that PE is really where he’s excelling as a teacher!
“I’m kind of like the P.E. coach, you know, get your a– outside, we’re gonna go rock climb, skateboard,” the 40 year old said. “The kids are doing really well. Everyone’s kind of in virtual school,” he explains. “They have time to check in with their friends, but I think they’re really loving it. They’re loving having me home and we’re having a great time. We’re just getting around like everybody else is. Thank god they have their teachers and much respect because it’s kind of [over my head].”
As well as fitting in PE class, the star is working on the sustainable water company, Mananalu, that he created to “stop the plastic pollution” by offering people an “alternative,” Jason adds that the company’s focus has changed after the global pandemic.
“We’re taking a lot of our supplies and we’re donating to a lot of places that need it,” he says. “We’re donating 20,000 cans to the Navajo and Hopi families because there’s a lot of places that are just not having clean water and wanting to be able to get it to first responders.”
The chiseled actor also spoke about the famous Coronavirus meme showing him shirtless in the water. The text reads, “Wash your hands like you’re washing Jason Momoa.”
“I never thought I’d be the candidate to promote (people) washing themselves,” Jason laughed. “But I’m pretty stoked!”
As are we Jason, as are we!
