Caitlyn Jenner Set To Do A Nude Cover For Sports Illustrated

It looks like Caitlyn Jenner may beat daughter Kim Kardashian to the cover of Sports Illustrated.
For the first time in the magazine’s history a transgender athlete will be on the cover. Caitlyn Jenner will be feature on a summer issue of Sports Illustrated to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Jenner’s performance at the 1976 Olympic Games where she won a gold medal in the decathlon.
Kris Jenner also appeared in a topless photo shoot for a 2007 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians wearing Caitlyn’s gold medal around her neck. The photos were meant as a surprise gift for her then husband Caitlyn.
This won’t be the first cover shoot for Caitlyn Jenner, who was on the cover of Vanity Fair last July, shortly her gender transition was announced.
Caitlyn has always said that winning the gold medal was a massive accomplishment for her –“My gold medal is my most prized possession – I’m so proud of it.”
That now weans in significance next to the awareness she is helping raise for the transgender community. Jenner says that she is even happier that she has come out as transgender and can finally be her true self and help bring trans issues to the forefront.
“That was a great time in my life, but to be honest with you, it’s even a greater time in my life right now with what I’m trying to accomplish.”
