Held in Melbourne last night, the TV Week Logie Awards are one of the most popular and glamorous events on the Aussie social calendar. But let’s not kid ourselves and pretend we care about who wins any awards- all we really want to see is what the celebs wore on the red carpet!
The night started off with the arrival of the stunning Rebecca Judd, who is currently pregnant with twins, dressed in the her most Elsa like gown from J’Aton Couture. I think she looked flawless albeit a bit too princessy. Her hair was perfection as was her makeup. Judd was definitely in my top 3 best dressed.
Olympia Valance looked a bit too bridal for me and I’m not really loving the bell sleeves. Her choker is very up to the minute and I do love the lace detailing of the dress.
Jennifer Hawkins has looked so much better in previous years. This colour was weird as was that panel across her chest and strange sleeves. Very boring for Hawkins.
Just no, Gina Liano! I am so sick of seeing her in the same style dress every single time. She may be wearing different dresses in her mind but to us they all look the same- boobs out, skin tight and bedazzled to the extreme. I would love to see her with her hair all slicked back and in something a bit more modern and less Miss. Universe circa 1983.
Jessica Marais has nailed this look! Absolutely killed it! It’s sexy without looking tacky and her hair and make up don’t compete with the dress at all. Simple styling and accessories are a winning combo! One of my faves!
Jesinta Campell wore a leotard type getup with some spider web dress on top. It sounds weird in theory but Jesinta has actually executed it well. Except the back- I’m not a huge fan of the booty hanging out- but hey, if mine looked like Campell’s then I would probably be wearing this to school pick up!
Laurina Fleure looked okay. I actually love the bottom half of the dress more than the top. Perhaps if it was a skirt and a different top it would’ve worked better.
Lee Lin Chin. I love you. That is all.
Carrie Bickmore looked as elegant as always. Can’t really go wrong with a classic black dress- and her soft wavy hair looked gorgeous on her.
Sonia Kruger is wearing two of my favourite things- gold and leather! Although it looks like it’s been through the paper shredder I kind of like it. Her hair and make up compliment the style perfectly.
Dannii Minogue is always stunning but this dress was a little too ballroom dancing costume for me. The feathers look like they’ve been glued on at the last minute. Love the hair though.
Trying to find something nice to say here Delta. Nope, not coming.
Gamble Breaux- I’m totally confused by that leg chain bling thing. It almost looks like she has some sort of leg problem and they are keeping her bones together. But I am happy to see those skanky extensions looking less skanky.(Wonder if she’s wearing Gina Liano shoes.)
Megan Gale is rocking a bit of red lace and she kind of reminds me of the dancing girl emoji. She looks beautiful though and that colour really suits her.
Julia Morris looks cute in a rockabilly kind of way.
Ada Nicodemou is another one of my favourites of the night. Simple and stunning in red- she is glowing! She is showing just the right amount of skin and her hair and make up are perfection. I love the simple diamond choker too. A definite winner!
