In a a recent interview the mother-of-three said she would fully support her sons should one them, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, or Apollo, 2 come out to her as gay one day.

“I would be blessed with a gay son,” she said. “I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job.”
The 46-year-old said top priority as a mother is “to be the most supportive mum that I can be.”
Whether any of her boys will come out as gay is anyone’s guess but Stefani says she is more than prepared should it happen. “I always ask my gay friends, ‘OK, so what was it like when you were a little boy?”
Stefani also admitted during the interview that she loves giving her kids manicures and knew the importance of letting her kids be themselves. “As long as my boys are protected and happy and I’m spending quality time with them, whether it’s doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn’t matter,” she said.

Stefani also had a few words to say to those that criticise her for allowing her boys to express their feminine side. “It doesn’t really bother me,” she admitted. “As long as my boys are protected and happy and I’m spending quality time with them, whether it’s doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn’t matter.”
