Khloe Kardashian has spoken candidly about how she thought having a baby could have saved her marriage to Lamar Odom.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed she tried IVF when she was 27 and married to Lamar Odom, but sadly neither her marriage or the treatments ended up working out.
“I do want to have a baby. I’ve tried IVF and all that,” she recently said on her new show “Kocktails with Khloe.”
“Right now in my life, I don’t want to just have a baby. I still want to have like my family … but at the time I was, like, ugh, gotta have a baby,” she continued. “That’s all I wanted at that time.”
Kardashian married NBA veteran Lamar Odom when she was 25 and within two years the marriage was in trouble as the couple were plagued with speculations of Odom’s drug use and wandering eyes.
“I thought maybe it would like fix the situation,” she recalled of her desperate plans.
Looking back now, Kardashian is glad she didn’t succumb to that thought.
“I’m also happy it didn’t happen because I was young. I was 27 and I thought ‘oh my god a baby will fix this. It’s not going to fix that,” she said adding the ploy is a classic move to save a wedding from divorce.
