Environmentalist, humanitarian and Oscar winning actor, Leonardo DiCaprio has even impressed himself. With a selfie!
While in New York recently, he gave a moving speech to the UN General Assembly urging world leaders to tackle climate change. He compared the problem to the crisis of Abraham Lincoln’s time, slavery.
“Our planet will not be saved unless we leave fossil fuels in the ground where they belong,” he said.
After the motivating speech, DiCaprio took the opportunity to snap a selfie of himself which was then shared by the United Nations on Twitter.
A representative captioned the pic, writing: “@LeoDiCaprio takes his UN Messenger of Peace duties seriously! Thanks for the #ParisAgreement support!”
But that’s not even the great part! Some behind the scenes images have surfaced which show the actor taking the selfie.
The actor can be seen posing for the mirror-like camera device and then inspecting the resulting image.
DiCaprio obviously likes what he sees as he inspects the photo. And why wouldn’t he. Handsome devil!
