Watch George Clooney and Julia Roberts Crash Gwen Stefani’s Carpool Karaoke
The latest instalment of carpool karaoke features singer Gwen Stefani belting out her hits with actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts in the back seat.
Talk Show host James Corden has done it again and this time with one of my all time favourite singers- Gwen Stefani. The woman is flawless and her voice is as kick ass as ever! Watching her sing Holla Back Girl is definitely a highlight.
The No Doubt frontwoman and the talk show host were having a perfectly lovely drive through Los Angeles singing Stefani’s classic hits and talking about emojis when they run into a little problem. They need four passenger for one part of the freeway so 2 more celebs jump into help out – cue George and Julia!
In one scene, 54 year old George Clooney claims to know the real meaning behind Holla Back Girl – “‘Ain’t no hollaback girl means if some guys are on a construction site and they’re yelling at a girl, she’s not gonna turn back. She’s not that kind of a girl. Am I close?”
“I think that that’s pretty close,” Stefani said, coyly. “It’s your interpretation of the song. I don’t want to, like, project what I thought onto you.”
“Well, it would help to know what you thought,” Clooney responds.
“The real meaning behind that song, the real inspiration behind that song, I would never say,” Stefani reveals. “All I’ll say is: I won.”
Wow- now that is B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
