71 Year Old Cher Rocks One Of Her Most Iconic Looks At The Billboard Awards!
It’s been nearly 30 years since Cher famously wore a figure-hugging sheer leotard complete with G-string and leather jacket for her video Turn Back Time and at 71 years young she’s rocking the look once again!
The music legend was presented with the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, where she wowed the audience with renditions of two of her biggest hits: The 1998 smash Believe and 1989’s If I Could Turn Back Time.
The crowd was left stunned when she appeared dressed in her iconic get up from the video as well as a more risqué piece for her hit ‘Believe.’
While accepting her award from Gwen Stefani, Cher famously boasted that she can still work out like a boss. “I’m 71 yesterday and I can do a five-minute plank, OK. Just sayin!”
Cher said her 50 year career was down to “luck — and a little bit of something thrown in.” She also shared the advice both her mum and first husband Sonny Bono had given her.
“You’re not going to the smartest, the prettiest, the most talented — but you’re going to be special,” they said.
Fellow Armenian beauty Kim Kardashian has been sharing throwback photos of Cher on Instagram lately and credits the music legend for being her fashion inspiration. We can totally see how Cher has influenced Kim’s style lately- especially with that long raven hair and bare midriff tops she’s been sporting lately!
