Anne Hathaway Removes Instagram Post About The Kardashians After Negative Comments

Anne Hathaway quickly deleted a post of a meme she uploaded to her Instagram account after it received some very nasty comments.
The meme featured an image of Helena Bonham Carter with the caption: In a world of Kardashians be a Helena Bonham Carter.
Almost instantly the photo received a backlash from fans saying it was uncool for her to be so negative towards the Kardashian family. The actress back-pedalled and said it never occurred to her that she was pitting people against each other.
We all know the Kardashians project an image of superficiality to the world – it’s all about their hair and clothes and lifestyle. But they have never pretended to be anything else. They are who they are and they completely own it. I understand Hathaway’s intent behind her post 100% but I don’t think it’s right to tear someone else down in order to lift yourself up. There are much nicer ways to make a positive statement about an issue you feel strongly about without being nasty to others.
Hathaway quickly regretted her decision and deleted the image which was replaced with a much nicer one stating: Post removed for unintended shade thrown.
