Ben Cousins Hospitalised After Being Found In The Middle Of A Freeway

Troubled AFL star Ben Cousins has been hospitalised after police were called to a busy West Australian highway yesterday.
The former West Coast and Richmond player, who has a history of drug abuse, was in the middle of Canning highway in Como directing traffic. Passers by described him as being “incoherent” and say he tried to jump on the back of someone’s motorcycle causing him to nearly lose control.
Ben was first seen talking to the windscreen washers at an intersection just near the freeway for nearly three hours. He then allegedly made his way into the middle of the busy highway.
“He was really lost, confused, making no sense at all,” one witness said. “Seven or eight cop cars turned up left, right and centre. They even had the helicopter above us.”
It’s been reported that Ben was later taken away to a local hospital for a full check up. The former AFL star has had a troubled past with substance abuse and his sporting career has taken a dive because of it.
