Biological Mum Of Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Zahara Begs To Speak To Her!

Mentewab Dawit Lebiso, the biological mother of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s adopted daughter, Zahara is pleading for the chance to speak to her child.
Lebiso spoke to Daily Mail saying she doesn’t want to take back custody of the 12 year old girl she just wants to be given a chance to talk to the daughter she gave up over a decade ago.
“I just want her to know that I am alive and here and long to be able to speak with her,” she said. “I do not want my daughter back but just to be in contact with her and be able to call her up and talk with her.”
At the time of Zahara’s adoption in 2005 it’s believed that Jolie wasn’t aware that Lebiso was still alive. The actress adopted the then six month old girl as a single mother with Pitt legally adopting Zahara also in 2006.
Lebiso acknowledges that the Hollywood actress has taken great care of her only child, but said she still misses Zahara. “I think about her every day and long to hear her voice or see her face,” she says. “I know when she has a birthday but I am sad because I can’t celebrate it with her. I would so much want to celebrate with her on her birthday and other special days. I long to be able to have regular contact with her. I would like Zahara to know she has a mother who loves her as much as Angelina.”
The 31 year old Ethiopian hasn’t had any contact with Zahara since she gave her up for adoption, and is eager to make contact with her soon. Lebiso wants to give Zahara the chance to get to know her biological mother before it’s too late. “We all die sometime and before I die I would like her to know about me and that she has family here in Ethiopia,” she said.
Zahara, the third adopted child for the Jolie-Pitts, is currently living with her actress mum in LA who is in the middle of a bitter custody dispute with her former husband over custody of their six kids.
