Brady Bunch Mum Florence Henderson Dies Aged 82

Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch, has died aged 82. The much loved actress passed away from heart failure surrounded by her four children at her home in Los Angeles.
Henderson was best known for playing America’s favourite mum on The Brady Bunch which debuted on our screens in 1969. It went on to become a worldwide phenomenon and lived on in popular culture for generations to come.

Beginning on Broadway when she was just 18 years old, Henderson’s career spanned over 50 years. Apart from starring on the much loved sit com she also appeared as the first female guest host on “The Tonight Show” and published her very own a cookbook.
In 2010, Henderson competed on “Dancing with Stars” and made a surprise appearance on the show this year, dressed up in character as Mrs. Brady.
