Fifi Box has made a name for herself as a successful radio host thanks to her bubbly personality, honesty and distinctive voice but now she reveals her dream of acting in a soap may be about to come true!
Speaking on her radio show, Fox 101.9’s Fifi and Dave with Brendan Fevola, the 39-year-old mum of one, revealed that she has been asked to audition for a part on long-running soap Neighbours, saying: ‘This is my absolute dream’.
‘I have been approached by a reputable program on Australian television and I have been asked to audition for an actual role in Neighbours,’ she said.
Fifi said the casting director of Neighbours called asking whether she would be interested in auditioning for a role this Friday. To which Fifi responded: ‘Are you kidding me? This is my absolute dream. Not only to be an actor but to be on Neighbours – the pinnacle Australian television show.’
Her co-host Dave stirred her about her previous acting role on Home and Away where she played a judge for a Fashions On The Field segment. ‘I’m not sure that they know what they’ve signed up for,’ he joked.
Time will tell whether Fifi Box nails her audition on Neighbours and moves into Ramsay Street.
Question is though, what role would she play? An extra at Lou’s Tavern sipping a latte or Paul Robinson’s new love interest perhaps?
