It’s been nearly two days since the Paris robbery occurred that saw Kim Kardashian West held at gun point in her apartment. Up until now, no-one from the family had spoken out or given a statement regarding the shocking break in and robbery.
Caitlyn Jenner,66 is the first from the family to post any message or show public support for the reality TV star. She recently uploaded a black and white image of her stepdaughter to Instagram with the following caption:
“Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I’m so thankful she’s okay. It’s a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world.”
Details of the robbery are still emerging as police suspect it may have been an inside job.
Many have come out criticising the star for making her wealth so public. Kim often posts photos of herself wearing millions of dollars worth of jewellery and then adding her location on the post. While some argue this is just asking for trouble others defend Kim saying she is free to do what she wants.
Chanel creative director, Karl Lagerfeld publicly condemned Kim yesterday saying she is ‘too public’ with her wealth. His remarks came as a shock as he is very close friends with the Kardashian family. Despite his honest comments though, he did post a photo of support to the star with the message: “Dearest Kim, we are all with you.”
When he was asked to comment on the events he said: “It’s a very bad thing for Paris. But I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security.” He continued, “If you are that famous and you put all your jewelry on social media, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room.”
