Ice-T Defends Wife’s Decision To Continue Breastfeeding Their Nearly 4 Year Old Daughter Chanel!

Rapper and actor Ice-T has gone in to bat for wife Coco Austin after she was slammed online for still occasionally breastfeeding their nearly 4 year old daughter Chanel.

Speaking to TMZ, the 61 year old rapper defended his wife’s decision saying people were making a big fuss over nothing.

“They make it like the baby only … breastfeeds. Every once in a while, you know what I’m saying, she wants to get close to her mom, that’s what they do,” he explained.

“She eats food, she eats f–king cheeseburgers,” he added.

Coco, 40 posted a group of photos on her Instagram account where she could be seen breastfeeding Chanel while on a private jet. The photos were accompanied by the caption:

“A mother’s calling. I’m so blessed to have this unbelievable expertise on this factor referred to as Nursing. I had a hard time breastfeeding the 1st week of when Chanel was born, I almost gave up but my family told me to hang for another week. They told me I don’t need to miss this particular second you will have along with your baby.. well being sensible and bond sensible. I hung in there and now almost four years later Chanel still wants the boob…’

Feeling the need to explain her decision, the actress added: ‘It’s extra of a consolation factor now and naturally she eats common however nap time and evening time are our time and I’m fortunate she hasn’t grown out it but as a result of when that second comes I shall be so unhappy. It’s the perfect feeling and ALL moms that nurse know…’

The hashtags accompanying the photos were ‘#normalisebreastfeeding’, which appeared to strike up a debate within the comments section. While the sentiments behind the photo were all about normalising breastfeeding many fans felt the image was anything but normal.
