Jenna Dewan Is Accused Of Being Disrespectful To Her Ex Channing Tatum!
Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum were one of Hollywood’s most loved up couples until recently when they announced their split after 10 years of marriage.
Now Dewan has come under fire following her post to Instagram where she shared a photo of her most recent cover for Vegas magazine. It seems many of her fans weren’t okay with the fact she’s chosen to drop Tatum from her name. After 10 years of marriage and one child together (5 year old daughter Everly), her fans thought it was way too soon for her to go and remove his surname.
Not just that, but apparently ALL traces of Tatum have been removed from her Instagram account. She’s done a clean sweep and taken down all images of him from the ‘gram! On the flip side though, Tatum has left ALL photos of her up…plus he likes her photos on the odd occasion. Now if that’s not a supportive ex then I don’t know what is?!
Speaking to Vegas magazine, Dewan opened up about her new life without Channing Tatum. “When we met on the set of Step Up in 2005, it felt like we had known each other for many years,” she said. “Ultimately, no matter what Chan and I are doing, we’re really great friends. I think that will never change, no matter what.”
Here’s what fans had to say about the Dewan’s change of name.
Is there any ‘right’ time to drop your ex’s surname? Or can you keep it for as long as you like? There are a stack of celebrities that are divorced yet choose to hold onto their ex partner’s name for whatever reason…Kris Jenner for example. Perhaps it’s because they have children and want to have the same name as them or maybe they just like their ex-married name better than their maiden name. Who knows! Whatever the reason may be, it really is up to them and not for us to judge and decide.
