Kate Middleton Wears Princess Diana’s Favourite Tiara

When Kate Middleton attended the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace this week she was wearing one very special accessory.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear a tiara for the fourth time ever. However this was no ordinary bling on her royal head. Kate chose a tiara that was given to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana, by Queen Elizabeth II on her wedding day to Prince Charles.
The stunning headpiece is called the Cambridge Lovers Knot and was worn by the Princess of Wales many times. It consists of 19 diamond frames with a large pearl drop suspended in each.
It’s so special to see Princess Diana’s daughter in law wearing it- it’s like her spirit and serenity somehow possess Kate when she wears it too. Stunning!
