Kerry Washington Quietly Welcomed a Baby Boy With Husband Nnamdi Asomugha
Scandal actress Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha have welcomed their second child, a baby boy they’ve named Caleb Kelechi.
As with their first child, 2 year old Isabelle Amarachi, the couple kept the birth a secret, only now revealing the event two weeks after the birth.
The name the couple chose has Hebrew roots and means “devotion to God” or “bold,” while Isabelle is also a Hebrew moniker and translates to “pledged to God”.

The couple are fiercely private, and practically eloped to escape paparazzi covering their wedding in 2013. In fact, even E News did not know that Kerry was engaged to Nnambi, a former NFL player.
“Earlier in my career I was much more super-sharey,” she told Lena Dunham for Marie Claire last year. “There were moments when I wanted to process things that were happening to me more privately, and I didn’t have the space to do it, because once you let people in, they’re in and you don’t get to say, ‘Oh, I want this for myself.'”
Congratulations to the entire family and welcome to the world, Caleb!
