Kourtney Kardashian has shared photos of daughter Penelope’s ‘big girl’ room on her app and we’re in love with the sleek pink look!
The four year old daughter of Kardashian and ex partner Scott Disick is basically living all our little girl dreams in this pink haven. Mum Kourtney has shared details of the room and reveals which items were allowed to stay from P’s previous room (including her Hermes blanket!)
“When we moved into the new house (which underwent a renovation unveiled in Architectural Digest in 2016,) Penelope was ready for a big girl room, but she definitely still wanted a space that was both playful and pink!” Kardashian, 37, wrote on her app. “We kept a lot of accents from her previous room, but went for a more sleek and modern feel.”
P’s bed is custom-made by one of the family’s designer friends and is covered in blush-coloured velvet, which the mum of three says “is great for kids so they don’t bump into a wood frame”.
Some of the things the four year old got to hold onto were her rag dolls (which have beds next to hers), her book collection (which is stacked in color-coordinated piles) her favourite Hello Kitty soft toy and lots of other pink bits and pieces.
Kardashian also reveals her daughter got a few really cool hand me downs including the Serge Mouille ceiling lamp — which used to hang in the family room in Kardashian’s previous home — and the neon light above Penelope’s bed.
“The ‘Love Me’ neon light by artist Curtis Kulig was in my previous bedroom, but I loved the idea of a pink neon light in her bedroom, so I gave it to P!” Kardashian, who also shares two sons, Mason, 7, and Reign, 2, with Disick, explained on her app.
