Kristen Bell’s Daughter Insisted on Wearing Matching Frozen-Themed Halloween Costumes
As parents, we would do pretty much anything to make our children happy. I mean, a pony is out of the question, and so is ice cream for breakfast. But we go to great lengths to please our kids, including agreeing to their plans when we are less than enthusiastic about them!
Take Kristen Bell, for example.
The popular actress, known for her roles on Veronica Mars and Bad Moms, has been talked into a particular Halloween costume by her young daughter, and she’s not very excited about it by the looks.
Kristen hilariously took to Instagram to share her happiness at being forced to dress as Elsa from Frozen.
“When your daughter demands you BOTH be ELSA for Halloween…you GRIN AND FORKING BEAR IT,” she wrote.
Bell voiced Elsa’s sister, Anna, in the animated Disney hit, but apparently her daughter wasn’t going to even let mum dress up as her own character when it came to the family trick or treating event.
Oh my, that is quite funny. I feel like I’ve pulled that very same face at times with my own children!
The actress has two daughters, Lincoln, 4, and Delta, 2, with husband Dax Shepard, so it’s most likely Lincoln who made the demand.
But why did Kristen’s daughter not want to choose Anna, the character that sounds EXACTLY LIKE HER OWN MOTHER?
“Despite how hard I tried, we’re not an Anna family,” Bell told USA Today at the premiere of “A Bad Mom’s Christmas.”
“Sad but true.”
“She don’t care,” she continued. “Anytime the word Halloween comes up she wants to put on her Elsa dress and her gloves. The gloves are a very big deal.”
Our advice to Kristen? Just smile and let it go….
