Madonna Reveals The Names Of Her Recently Adopted Twin Daughters and Shares a New Photo
Madonna confirmed the adoption of twin girls from an orphanage in Malawi last week and now she has officially revealed their names.
The 58 year old singer shared a new photo of her daughters along with confronting statistics about the orphanage where they lived.
“There are 650 Orphans at Home of Hope where Estere and Stelle have lived for four years since they were five days old,” she wrote alongside the photo.
The mother of six praised Home of Hope directors Rev. Chipeto and his daughter Lucy calling them “generous” and “compassionate.”
“Raising Malawi has been working with HOH for over 10 years since I met my son David there,” Madonna wrote. “Every little bit helps!!!!” she added.
Madonna was granted an adoption order on Tuesday making it clear for her to take Estere and Stelle back to the States with her.
“The little sisters are both aged 4 years and 7 months as they were born on 24 August 2012,” a spokesperson said. “Madonna came to the court on Tuesday with her lawyer Mr. Mvalo. The father of the children was also in court together with the uncle of the little girls. She looked very happy in court. She left with her two new daughters.”
Madonna has two more children from the African country of Malawi- 11 year old son David and 11 year old daughter Mercy. Besides her adopted kids, Madonna also has two biological children, Lourdes, 20, and Rocco, 16.
