Mark Wahlberg Missed Seeing His Team Win the Super Bowl After Son Got Sick

Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg proved that you never actually stop being a parent! The dad of four, who is a die hard Patriots fan, missed his team’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night after one of his sons got ill during the game.

“I had to leave the game early because my youngest son wasn’t feeling well,” he said of son Brendan. “Trust me, I would have loved to be at the stadium, but family first. Doesn’t mean I don’t love my Patriots too!”

The 45 year old actor shared the photo above which shows himself on the field prior to the game with his wife, Rhea Durham and his two sons, Brendan and Michael.

The diehard New England Patriots fan then took to Instagram to share a screenshot of himself consoling Falcons fan Usher after the Patriots won.

Wahlberg and his model wife Rhea Durham have been married since 2009 and have four children together-  two daughters Ella,13 and Grace, 6 and two sons Michael, 10 and Brendan, 8.
