Mel Gibson Welcomes His Ninth Child Aged 61!

Aussie actor Mel Gibson has welcomed his ninth child to the world. Girlfriend Rosalind Ross, 26 announced the arrival of their first son together Lars in a statement to People magazine yesterday.

“They’re thrilled and Lars is adorable,” the announcement said. “Their family is all around them and Mel is over the moon. They’re home and everybody is healthy and happy!”

Lars is the first child for Ross who gave birth in Los Angeles on the weekend. Gibson, 61, is already father to daughter Hannah and six sons – Edward, Christian, William, Louis and Milo, from his 28-year marriage to ex-wife Robyn Moore. They divorced in 2011. He also shares daughter Lucia, 7, with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Gibson and Ross (a champion equestrian vaulter) have a 35 year age gap and first began dating in 2014.
