Australian model Miranda Kerr is engaged to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel– who has en estimated worth of $US2.1 billion.

The 33 year old Victoria’s Secret Angel shared the happy news on her Instagram account with a cute cartoon image of herself and Evan,26 in front of a photo of her stunning ring. She captioned the shot with three simple words- “I said yes!”

Evan is on of the world’s youngest self-made billionaires thanks largely to the success of Snapchat which has is one of the world’s most used and popular social media platforms.

The couple met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in New York in 2014 and were first spotted as a couple in 2015. In May this year, Miranda and Evan moved into their $12 million dollar mansion in LA formerly owned by Harrison Ford. The house is in Brentwood and features all the usual luxuries you would expect- pools, guesthouse and in-house gym.

Miranda was previously married to actor Orlando Bloom and has five year old son Flynn with him. The two have remained good friends and are often seen out co-parenting the youngster together.

The 25 year old media mogul may be years younger than Miranda but she says he is mature beyond his years-“He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50,” she said. “He’s not out partying. He goes to work in LA’s Venice. He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.”

Founder of Kora cosmetics, Miranda says she only let her son Flynn meet Evan after they had been dating for a while. (She and Orlando had a rule that they must know the person for at least six months before any introductions were made.)

“We had to know the person for six months and feel good about them,” she said earlier this year. “Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he’s great. We’re just a modern family now!”
