Nick Cannon Won’t Sign Papers To Finalise Divorce From Mariah Carey
Nick Cannon was the one who filed for divorce from his wife Mariah Carey in 2014 but now it looks like he’s getting cold feet.
The 35 year old presenter has refused to sign the divorce papers which Mariah,46 needs in order to go ahead with her wedding to billionaire fiancee James Packer. Sources say Nick still loves Mariah and doesn’t want to officially let her go.
Nick and Mariah wed in 2008 at her private home on Windermere Island in the Bahamas and they have two children together, four year old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Although Nick hasn’t officially made a comment as to why he won’t sign the papers, those close to him are saying he isn’t keen for her to tie the knot with James Packer.
When Mariah and James first announced their engagement Nick was quick to congratulate them on social media with this message: “Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union … #GreatPeople #GreatCouple.”
