Nicole “Snooki’ Polizzi Hits Back At Mummy Shamers Who Say Her Kids Are Too Old For Strollers!
‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi had to defend herself recently after being attacked for using strollers at Disneyland for her kids, Lorenzo, 6, and Giovanna, 4.
The 31 year old reality TV star was visiting ‘the happiest place on earth’ with husband Jionni LaValle, 32, for a three-day family trip to Disneyland. As anyone who’s been to the theme park knows it’s massive and requires a whole lot of walking to get from ride to ride.
Snooki, who’s currently pregnant with her third child, shared some happy snaps of the outing to her Instagram account. The images prompted many to call her out for having her kids sitting in strollers. They felt that at 6 and 4 years of age they were perfectly capable of walking on their own.
Comments like “Omg my kids would never be in a stroller that big,” and “All of them kids know how to walk,” were enough to warrant a response from the fed up mum.
“They walk! But in large crowds I prefer they sit their asses down. Saves me the stress of not losing my offspring,” she responded defending her parenting choice.
One fan retaliated with “3 kids and have done Disney 3 times. If you’re over 2, you’re walking. And I’ve never lost anyone.”
Luckily for Snooki, most of her fans who are mums themselves, defended the star. “Who the hell cares if they are in a stroller,” one fan commented. “I’m pretty sure she’s the mother, not y’all? Maybe they were tired.”
“I’d love for someone to push me around Disneyland too,” said another. While one mum remarked,”Have you even been to Disneyland? That place is huge! If she wants to keep an eye on her kids it’s her choice. Go Snooki!”
Snooki and Jionni, who have been married since 2014, announced they were expecting a boy back in November. “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving,” she captioned a picture of Lorenzo and Giovanna holding a sonogram photo. “#family.”
