Prince Charles’ Goddaughter Tara Palmer-Tomkinson Found Dead Aged 45
Prince Charles’ goddaughter and former socialite, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has died aged 45. Reports say she was found dead in her apartment in South Kensington yesterday. The cause of her death is yet to be revealed.
The 45 year old, who was regular on the London party scene in the 90’s, was diagnosed with a tumour last January and was also suffering from an auto immune disease that caused acute anaemia, tiredness and joint pain. Tomkinson had struggled with cocaine addiction for most of her life which she had discussed openly several times.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall released a statement soon after Palmer-Tomkinson’s death was reported, saying they are “deeply saddened and our thoughts are so much with the family.”

Tomkinson was born in Hampshire to Olympic skier Charles Palmer-Tomkinson, a former 1964 Olympic skier, and wife Patricia in 1971. Prince Charles and Mr Palmer-Tomkinson were good friends and he taught the royal how to ski, which saw the two families often travelling and holidaying together.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to her entire family. RIP Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
