Queen Elizabeth Was Once Almost Shot By Her Own Guard During 3am Walk!

Queen Elizabeth once had a very close call with a guard at Buckingham Palace it’s been revealed.
The Times of London reported the information on Tuesday saying that Her Majesty was nearly shot by a guard who mistook her for an intruder as she was walking the palace grounds at 3 am in the morning.
The 90 year old often heads outside for a stroll if she can’t sleep and it was during one of these times that a patrolman noticed “a figure in the darkness.”
However, when he called out to see who was there, it turned out to be the Queen herself.
“Bloody hell, Your Majesty, I nearly shot you,” the guard reportedly told her after realising his mistake.
“That’s quite all right,” she responded. “Next time I’ll ring through beforehand so you don’t have to shoot me.”
Wow! Now that’s what I call a close call!
Sources say the beloved royal is still recovering from her “heavy cold” that she came down with before Christmas which saw her miss the Christmas Day and New Year’s day church services.
