Ryan Gosling Thanks “Sweetheart” Wife Eva Mendes During Golden Globes Acceptance Speech

Ryan Gosling has just gone and made the most moving speech that has left his army of fans breathless! Especially the females!
When the brooding actor won a Golden Globe for his part in La La Land yesterday he acknowledged the fact that none of it would’ve been possible without the support of his “sweetheart” wife Eva Mendes.
The 36-year-old thanked his partner for carrying the load at home, allowing him to make the film.
“While I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I have ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer,” he said.
“If she hadn’t have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So sweetheart, thank you.”
Mendes, who wasn’t at the Golden Globes because she was “at home with the girls”, gave birth to their second daughter, Amada, in April, the same week her brother, Juan Carlos, was laid to rest. Juan Carlos passed away after battling throat cancer. He was 53.
“Losing my brother brought our family closer, and we were already close to begin with,” Mendes said at the time. “So, to just see everybody be there for one another and show up, I feel so lucky to have them. And then they were there for me when Amada was born. We had a funeral service for him, and that same week I had the baby. So it was really, really intense and obviously beyond heartbreaking but also kind of beautiful.”
Ryan, never change! Sincerely yours, all the women of the world!
