Shahs Of Sunset Alumni Lilly Ghalichi Reveals What Shocked Her Most About Motherhood!
The Persian Barbie, Lilly Ghalichi, welcomed her first child Alara Mir on September 30th and she shared the happy news on Instagram with an adorable photo of herself and bub. The entrepreneur even found a way to hustle her ‘eyelashes’ during the announcement.
“Alara Mir. Born 9/30/18. Our hearts are so full. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents. Wearing the ‘MILF’ Lash during delivery by [Lilly Lashes] from the ‘Living Your Best Life Collection,'” she wrote.
Now that Ghalichi has had a bit of time to get used to her new role as mum she realises there’s a LOT about motherhood people don’t tell you. So much in fact, that the former Shahs Of Sunset star feels compelled to document it all in a book.
But for now, Ghalichi has shared her observations of motherhood on her Instagram stories with some rather revealing bits of information.
The eyelash expert said, “It’s officially a week since I gave birth. I’m exhausted. This is so hard. I have newfound respect for all parents. They don’t tell you any of this, I swear. I’m going to write a book called The Truth About Childbirth because there were so many things that I was just not prepared for. I’m going to tell you some of them right now.”
Firstly, Ghalichi seriously thought her stomach would flatten the instant she gave birth. Hahahahaha! Wishful thinking darling…it took 9 months to get that big and it certainly isn’t going to disappear in a few hours.
Here’s what she said, “They don’t tell you is you are still going to look pregnant after you have the baby. I swear to God I thought I’d just be so skinny after the baby came out, but you’re not.”
Next up, she added: “Second thing they don’t tell you is that breast feeding is no joke. The way that your boobs gain during pregnancy is nothing compared to what happens after you deliver. They get huge! Not only do they get really big; one of mine got super painful and hard.”
Hair loss was addressed next, which gave the new mum a chance to spruik some more of her beauty products. “When you’re pregnant you’re full of estrogen from the placenta. When you deliver, it gets ripped out and so does all that estrogen. So most women experience a lot of hair loss — luckily, this is one thing I haven’t experienced,” she shared,
The star even shared the fact she suffered a ‘minor labia tear’ which again no-one warned her about! But in the end Ghalichi said something all mums know to be true…”She is worth it all!”
