Sharon Stone Reveals Why She Could Never Have Children Of Her Own
American actress Sharon Stone has shared the devastating reason why she was never able to carry children of her own.
The 59 year old, who is mum to three adopted boys, shared recently that she suffers from an autoimmune disease which makes it difficult to carry a pregnancy to full term. During her marriage to Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2003 the talented actress says she suffered through several heartbreaking miscarriages.
Stone hasn’t let that stop her from becoming a mother and went on to adopt three beautiful boys Roan, 16, Laird, 12, and Quinn, saying they are the best things to ever happen to her.
“The other day, I asked my son Laird if he knew how much I loved him and he said, ‘Yeah. Because you chose me,” she said.
“I watch videos from when they were small and am absolutely enthralled by that. But those moments just keep coming. And when times get tough, her sons give her strength. “I think that love is the greatest faith there is and if you stay faithful in your love, then you’re going to be OK.”
Stone, hit the red carpet over the weekend for the premiere of her new movie “A Little Something For Your Birthday” with two of her sons in tow. The film is one of Stone’s first romantic comedies where she plays an aspiring fashion designer who struggles to find success and love.
