Violent Shooting at Miranda Kerr’s Malibu Home
One man has been shot in the head and another stabbed in the eye after a brutal confrontation at Aussie model Miranda Kerr’s Malibu mansion.
It is alleged that an intruder scaled an electric fence in order to access the property. There was a violent altercation when we was confronted by the security guard, with the two men involved in a scuffle on the ground. The intruder stabbed the guard in the eye, and the guard then shot the intruder multiple times, according to TMZ. One bullet struck the intruder in the head.
Both the intruder and the security guard were flown to hospital and are expected to survive.
Miranda Kerr, who lives at the Malibu home with her five-year-old son Flynn, was absent at the time of the incident. She was last spotted in Malibu on Sunday leaving dinner at Soho House with a group of friends.
Seven News US Bureau Chief Mike Amor said neighbours reported hearing the intruder yelling on the Pacific Coast Highway that runs along the coastline of Malibu.
The neighbours said they believe the intruder is a homeless man.
“It’s kind of a crazy thing to happen out here in Malibu,” one resident told local station KTLA 5.
We are so thankful that Miranda and her son were not home at the time of the violent intrusion, and wish everyone involved a speedy recovery.
