Week #51: Celebrity Fashion Fix

Week #51 of Celebrity Fashion, Celebrity Style and Celebrity Pics.

Well the Fails definitely outnumber the Faves this week! But the good ones are so full of win that they overshadow the poor attempts at fashion by a long shot. Have a look at the week that was and tell us what you think in the comments below! (you don’t have to be nice by the way!!)

Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Marlohe walked the red carpet in a stunning J. Mendel Spring 2013 gown at the Australian premiere of her new Bond flick Skyfall held at The State Theatre in Sydney.

The French actress finally gives us a break from the sequinned, fitted dresses she seems to favour, for this elegant purple frock with a tulle bodice, chiffon skirt and delicate floral embroidery.

On this occasion, the smoky purple eye totally works with the look, and I love the additional pop of colour from her green and aqua drop earrings.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey looks stunning while walking the orange carpet at Nickelodeon’s 2012 TeenNick Halo Awards on Saturday (November 17) at the Hollywood Palladium in California.

The American Idol judge is wearing a Balenciaga dress, Gucci shoes, and Paolo Costagli jewellery.

I’ve never liked Mariah but I have to admit that she’s absolutely rocking this. She’s used what she has beautifully and isn’t trying to be someone she’s not (ie, she could easily try to reclaim her youth and copy Christina Aguilera but she isn’t). It’s age appropriate, it’s flattering and it suits her nicely.

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan at least attempted to keep it elegant while attending the premiere of her new movie Liz & Dick held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday (November 20) in Beverly Hills, California.

The 26-year-old actress is wearing a Donna Dashini gown, Nanzo Muzi shoes, and Vintage jewels at the premiere.

Certainly not her worst moment but it’s not her finest either.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston attended the 2012 American Cinematheque Award Gala held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (November 15) in Beverly Hills, California.

The 43-year-old actress helped honour her Along Came Polly co-star Ben Stiller at the gala, who was roasted during the evening by a bunch of his celeb pals.

Jennifer is wearing a Valentino dress.

I do wish she’d put her hair up once in a while. And what is that bow?

Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Marlohe glams up for the premiere of her film Skyfall held at the Toho Cinemas Nichigeki last Monday in Tokyo, Japan.

The French beauty attended the Tokyo premiere held at Toho Cinemas Nichigeki wearing a tri-colour Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2013 dress with a ruched dove-grey bodice, white waistband and aqua wrap skirt.

Gold Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, gold jewels, a wavy updo and signature smoky eyes completed her look.

I love it, and I adore the hemline on her skirt.

Isla Fisher

I totally didn’t recognise Isla Fisher! She looks fabulous!

The Aussie actress and Mrs Borat attended the premiere of her new film Rise of the Guardians held at the Empire Leicester Square on Thursday (November 15) in London, England.

The 36-year-old actress rocked a Dolce&Gabbana top and skirt, Sergio Rossi shoes, and a Bulgari clutch and jewels.

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart looks golden at the premiere of Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (November 12) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old actress paired her nude corseted strapless Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 gown featuring lace and chiffon panelling with Jimmy Choo shoes, and Iwona Ludyga Design jewellery.

All I can see is vagina.

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart smiles for the cameras (yes, that’s a smile in her world) in a black Zuhair Murad jumpsuit at the UK premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (November 14) in London, England.

Clearly unfazed about the controversy of her LA premiere sheer gown, she donned another sheer eye-popping look, this time from the Lebanese designer’s Fall 2012 Couture collection.

The jumpsuit featured a delicate embroidered top with an open back and fully sequined pants with lace panels going down the sides.

Jessica Biel and Scarlet Johannson

Between the two of them, they are worth $53million.

Unfreakingbelievable.

Bea Arthur there on the left is wearing Oscar de la Renta pants and top, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

And that sulky waitress is wearing a Rodarte dress, Gucci shoes, and Fred Leighton jewels.

(Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson attended the premiere of Hitchcock held at Ziegfeld Theatre on Sunday (November 18) in New York City.)

Katy Perry

Katy Perry wears a cap-sleeve floral-print Dolce&Gabbana dress featuring a bejewelled pink velvet waist-cinching belt on the red carpet at the Dream Foundation Celebration of Dreams on Friday (November 16) at the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, California.

Katy sported wavy raven locks, a pink lip colour and a gorgeous pair of forest-green statement earrings to complete the look.

Elle Fanning

WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I MEANT TO SAY ABOUT THIS ONE?

Elle Fanning attended the LA premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 14-year-old actress came out to support her big sister Dakota, who stars as evil vampire Jane in the hugely popular franchise.

The young star wore a Prada Spring 2013 ensemble.

I do believe we have hit a new low.

Julianna Marguiles

Julianna Marguiles hit the red carpet at the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 12) in New York City.

Julianna is wearing a Chado Ralph Rucci dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Fred Leighton jewels.

One word.

Lampshade.

So what do you think? Who was your best dressed this week? And who failed miserably?
