Week #74: Celebrity Fashion Fix

Week #74 of Celebrity Fashion, Celebrity Style and Celebrity Pics.

Celebrity Fashion Fix

High fashion was slim on the ground this week, as everyone gets over the fabulousness that is always the Cannes Film Festival. But I have found the most interesting looks for us to comment on. So vote for your best dressed and tell us exactly what you think! Would you wear these outfits?
Angelina Jolie
Celebrity fashion fix
Angelina Jolie steps out to support her fiance Brad Pitt at the premiere of his film World War Z held at the Empire Leicester Square on Sunday (June 2) in London, England.
This is the first public appearance the 37-year-old actress has made since announcing that she underwent a preventative double mastectomy over the last several months.
Sticking to her signature black, the actress wore a modest black Saint Laurent gown with a sheer panelled fitted bodice, open back and free flowing skirt.
I’m not fully sold on this, but I do prefer the mesh-covered cutout to Jessica Chastain’s open one in her red Saint Laurent dress from last week. If they combined the two…
Rachel Bilson
Celebrity fashion fix
Rachel Bilson dolls up while attending the Chanel NRDC Celebration Of Art, Nature And Technology Dinner held at a private residence on Friday (May 31) in Los Angeles.
The 31-year-old actress wore a floral strapless look with a high-low hemline and tiered skirt from the Chanel Resort 2013 collection.
Her frock was effortlessly styled with silver strappy sandals.
Looks like a lovely maternity dress to me.
Heather Graham
Celebrity fashion fix
Heather Graham walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie The Hangover Part III (also known by the title Very Bad Trip 3 – hello! Spoiler alert!!) at the Cinema UGC Normandie on Monday (May 27) in Paris, France.
Heather is wearing a streamlined gown from the Talbot Runhof Spring 2013 collection which is fully embellished with white micro crystals and features a black sculpted overlay on the bodice, Jimmy Choo shoes, and a Jacob & Co. diamond bracelet.
I like this. It has inspired me to do something similar with all that fly screen we have in the shed.
Celebrity fashion fix
Heather Graham looks lovely while arriving at the fan event of her new film The Hangover Part III held at the Grand Rex on Sunday (May 26) in Paris, France.
Heather is wearing Notte by Marchesa.
I really wish I could find a decent picture of her in this dress but these two are the best there is. I don’t know if it’s tea length or full length or mermaid tail…. Hell, she could have bright purple leggings and metallic orange cork platform sandals on for all we know.
But from what I can see, it’s gorgeous. And I want to see more.
Rose Byrne
Celebrity fashion fix
Here are the now-infamous camel toe shoes again, girls.
Rose Byrne hit the red carpet at the premiere of her new film The Internship at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday (May 29) in Westwood, California.
The Australian beauty wore a pretty powder-pink Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 long-sleeved wool-and-Chantilly-lace mini frock with a bow accent.
Rose completed her look with Salvatore Ferragamo satin platform pumps.
I like it, but I would love to see it in a different colour. Maybe teal or a steely silvery grey. And perhaps a bit longer.
Ellie Goulding
Celebrity fashion fix
British singer Ellie Goulding hits the red carpet while attending the Walking with the Wounded Crystal Ball Gala Dinner on Thursday (May 30) at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England.
The “Lights” singer wore a metallic and feather embellished Marina Qureshi frock.
It’s hard to criticise someone who looks so refreshingly normal, but if I were invited to an event that Prince Harry also attended, I would get my hair done and have my makeup professionally applied. I might also consider wearing foundation garments or choose a dress that wasn’t quite so tight. She looks lovely, but she could have looked completely breathtaking.
And she could have scored Prince Harry.

Uma Thurman
Celebrity fashion fix
Uma Thurman is striking as she arrives at the Palme D’Or Winners Dinner during the final day of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival held at Agora on Sunday (May 26) in Cannes, France.
The 43-year-old actress wore a Giorgio Armani custom made navy blue cold-shoulder gown featuring a draped neckline and tonal waistband, which was fully embroidered with black-and-blue Swarovski crystals.
Keeping the same Chopard jewels, hair and makeup from the red carpet, the 5ft 11in actress completed her look with gold Jimmy Choo ‘Fiona’ flats.
I love the shape of this dress, and it fits her like a glove. Beautiful.
Hayden Panettiere
Celebrity fashion fix
Hayden Panettiere attended the second day of the Variety Emmy Studio on Thursday (May 30) at Palihouse in West Hollywood, California.
Hayden is wearing a Colette Dinnigan top, J Brand pants, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Kara Ackerman earrings.
I adore everything else though. And yay for Aussie designers.
Emma Roberts
Celebrity fashion fix
Emma Roberts dolls up while attending the Chanel NRDC Celebration Of Art, Nature And Technology Dinner held at a private residence on Friday (May 31) in Los Angeles.
Emma wore a Chanel dress, selecting a white knit from the Spring 2013 collection.
She accessorised with a black-and-white quilted Chanel clutch and tri-colour, triple buckle toe-cap pumps.
It looks like one of those mesh muscle-tees that the boys from Right Said Fred thought they looked so sexy in 22 years ago. (OMG 22 years!! *faints*)
Elisabeth Moss
Celebrity fashion fix
Elisabeth Moss poses for a photo while attending the second day of the Variety Emmy Studio on Thursday (May 30) at Palihouse in West Hollywood, California.
The Mad Men actress wore a 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013 semi-grunge, jagged flower-print dress, which was cut through with sheer black panelling and a strip of patent leather. Also in the mix was a pair of neon-orange ankle-strap Aldo shoes and her newly platinum pixie cut.
There are NO redeeming qualities here that I can see. None.

Jessica Szohr
Celebrity fashion fix
Jessica Szohr hit the red carpet at the premiere of her new film The Internship at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday (May 29) in Westwood, California.
The former Gossip Girl star wore a 20s-style black beaded frock from Haute Hippie with fringed chain accents on the sleeves. It was simply styled with silver earrings and black Chanel pumps, allowing the focus to remain on her dress.
I think she looks super cute in this, I like it.

Heidi Klum
Celebrity fashion fix
Heidi Klum stops to pose while at a photo call for Germany’s Next Top Model held at the Waldorf Astoria hotel on Monday (May 27) in Berlin, Germany.
The 39-year-old America’s Got Talent judge wore an Atelier Versace Spring 2013 pinstripe asymmetrical one-sleeve dress enriched with gold metallic detailing at the waist.
She completed her look with a pair of Versace sandals from the Spring 2013 collection featuring black leather, gold chain-embellished ankle-strap and gold, silver & gunmetal chain fringe detail.
I don’t think I like anything that Versace have wheeled out for us over the last few years. Everything looks so garish and vulgar. Nothing elegant or stylish at all! Look at the way it warps her boobs! And zig-zag chain fringe on shoes? No. Just… no.
