This 7 Year Old Was Clearly Wearing His Sassy Pants When He Finally Did His School Holiday Homework

Trying to get your kids to do anything during their school holidays can be a terribly trying task. If they put as much effort into coming up with excuses as they did just getting the thing done, it would be done brilliantly in a fraction of the time. But no, they gotta drag their feet and whine and complain.

Can’t say I blame them when it comes to school holiday homework though. I’d be whinging too!

One little boy has begrudgingly completed his school holiday homework after three weeks of being nagged by his mother to do so. I guess you could call this malicious compliance because he managed to troll his teacher superbly with his homework!

Lisa Vale’s son was given the task of forming sentences with his spelling words, and seven-year-old Angus certainly did not disappoint!

She writes: “Reminded my kid he needed to do his homework he put off for 3 wks during break. This is his finished work. Only 7 and already #TrollingHisTeacher”

Wow, Angus didn’t hold back, did he? What a feisty little genius!

“My son, Angus, waited until the last minute of his three-week break to do his homework and went into doing it very disgruntled and put off,” mum Lisa explained to Indy100.

“But as he started to do it and I was cleaning around the house I heard him giggling more and more until he was in a fit of full-blown laughter before declaring loudly, “DONE!”

“I took this immediately after he showed me his homework because he was so pleased with himself,” Lisa wrote, after sharing her son’s sassy homework with her Twitter followers.

Lisa felt the need to clarify a few points as her Twitter post went viral and criticism was levelled at her family’s attitude toward homework.

“His teacher is absolutely brilliant and has a great sense of humour which has all her students captivated. We are extremely blessed to have her!” Lisa wrote on a Facebook post addressing her new viral fame.

“I’m not against homework and his school gives nothing each week that would require more than a few minutes — as a form of reviewing what was learned that week, because his school recognizes that kids retain information in different ways. Homework is due and assigned once a week. Can you say you’ve never heard an otherwise thoughtful and respectful kid complain once about homework?”

Fair call!

This kid is clearly going places. Well done, young Angus! I hope your teacher enjoys your sassy homework as much as we do!
