A Bride’s Family Picture is Edited as a Tribute to The Son She Lost a Month Before Her Wedding

A photographer has edited a bride’s family wedding photo as a tribute to the son she lost to Leukemia, a month before her wedding.

Anna, the bride, felt anxious and emotional when it came time to get the family photos taken during her wedding ceremony. But she also felt her son’s presence on the day.

The Today Show shared Anna’s post, including the stunning picture of what looks like her son’s presence in the family photo. The photographer compassionately added the deceased son’s image to the family wedding pictures.

Anna wrote, “I do know that Lake has been watching over us especially when we got married. He made sure that it would be a day that none of us would forget. Although I felt his presence that day and I was actually happy, it was almost unbearable to take family pictures without him. I could feel my emotions taking over after the ceremony when it was time to take pictures. I became anxious and almost irritated but I knew these pictures had to be taken. They turned out beautiful and thanks to my amazing photographer she was able to get some special edits done. I needed this picture more than she or anyone could ever know. THIS is my family. And we will be together again”.
