Fans of Friends have been begging for a reunion ever since the show ended in 2004, and now – they will get their wish, in a way.
All six actors – Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc will participate in a tribute broadcast honoring legendary TV director James Burrows, who helmed 15 Friends episodes throughout the show’s 10-season run.
However, there’s a catch.
“I’m hoping all six of them will be all in the same room at the same time, but I’m not sure if we can logistically pull that off,” NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt told reporters while announcing the news on Wednesday.
The special, which will be produced by former Will & Grace star Sean Hayes, is set to air Feb. 21 on NBC, with several other iconic casts expected to reunite. Among them: Will & Grace, The Bob Newhart Show, Laverne & Shirley, Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, and Mike & Molly.
