AC/DC’s Phil Rudd Sentenced to Eight Months Home Detention

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was sentenced to eight months home detention on Thursday morning after pleading guilty to drug possession and threatening to kill two people.

Phil, 61, pleaded guilty to the charges against him in April, admitting that he offered large amounts of money and gifts to an associate after asking him to have the victim taken out.

He could have faced up to 7 years in prison for directly saying to the victim that he was going to kill him.

When he was arrested in November, he was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and cannabis.
