Afgan Baby Born With an Extra Head
A baby in Afghanistan has been born with an abnormality, an extra head. Yes you read that right, an extra head. Poor little girl, poor family. This would be a very stressful and upsetting thing to go through for the baby and the family.

Surgeons have successfully removed the extra head
but the condition of the baby is not good. The father of this baby did not think that his new daughter would survive the operation. She has survived and let’s hope that she gets better and makes a full recovery.
Nematullah who is the father to the twins has thanked doctors for saving his little girls life and is very happy with the outcome. The baby is called Asree Gul which means, ‘new flower’, has a new start and a better life due to the surgeons fixing this abnormality.
It makes me think that it might have been triplets but something went wrong. It is a blessing that the twins are oaky and medicine has progressed to allow such surgery to happen.
Thinking about surgery and kids, my twins need their tonsils out and that will be stressful enough for me. I will be a very worried mother if they get the operation. Not sure how I would cope with more serious surgery, a tonsillectomy would upset me enough.
Did you have some scary moments after you had your baby/babies? Did they need surgery to fix something? I hope it all went well. I can imagine it would be nerve wracking and extremely stressful.
Let us know how you coped with kids having surgery or injuries?
