Thankfully, someone has simplified that search process by compiling a Yellow Pages-style resource finder for Australian mums by Australian mums!
After successfully running the popular Facebook mums group Mums the word – Aus for over five years, Sydney mum Carly Abrahams decided to create MumsPages with the intention of helping mums connect with small business’ products and services.
Carly’s MumsPages has made it super simple to find all the family-related goods and services that are often hard to find unless you know exactly who and what you are searching for.
With categories covering Babies and Kids, Beauty and Styling, Health and Wellbeing, Home Services, Parties and Events, Personal and Business and Pregnancy and Birth, MumsPages is packed full of trusted businesses and services for everything a family could need, complete with a location-based search feature ensuring relevant results.
Carly explained that she wanted to help many of the small business owning-mums in her Facebook group to grow and expand their businesses while helping other mums find them.
“Many of the mums in my group are also small business owners or have family members that are, and it became clear as the group grew, that small businesses struggle for places to promote themselves to their local target market, without it costing more than they can afford.
“I wanted to offer small businesses more and I wanted to offer Australian mums more.
“So I created MumsPages.com.au, to make it quick and simple for mothers to connect with businesses and service providers near them, wherever they are in Australia and at the same time businesses can simply attract mums in their target area for FREE or for affordable rates,” Carly explained.
“We are like the Yellow Pages for mums but better, better for businesses and better for the mums that use our platform. For businesses, MumsPages is like their own mini website, they get their own backend system to populate their page with a whole host of features that we offer, plus they can constantly track their leads, impressions, views and rank.”
Carly says, “it’s early days but I’m hoping that Australian mothers and businesses across the country will find MumsPages a useful resource and helpful marketing tool.”
“MumsPages aims to let mums search whatever they want – whether it’s childcare in Surry Hills, supper clubs in Bondi or pedicures – and get 10-20 in the one area, all different prices, which they can pick from.”
