Reality, radio and TV personality Chrissie Swan was first to enter, before being joined by American actress Maureen McCormick, famous for playing Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch, who Chrissie totally fangirled over. Next in was comedian Joel Creasy who was convinced that no one knew who he was.
Iconic cricketer Merv Hughes, model and former Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic and model Tyson Mayr (now dating The Bachelor’s Lisa Hyde) followed after that. Next up was bubbly ex-Hi 5 member Lauren Brant, Aussie legend Andrew Daddo, swimmer Leisel Jones and lastly former AFL star Barry Hall.

They were then told they had to change out of their fancy clothes into their jungle gear. Following from that, they were given a rundown of what creepy crawlies to look out for and what to do if they do happen to come across one. Then it was time to jump back in a helicopter to get whisked off to their new home for the next 6 weeks.
Once they reached their destination, they had to jump into the crocodile infested water, climb onto a raft and pull themselves to shore.
Next up was what looked like an excruciating hike to camp involving sweat, tears and some rock climbing to retrieve their staples.
On their first night in camp, it rained, and Maureen McCormick had a mini meltdown trying to process the experience so far.

Chrissie Swan put her hand up to do the first Tucker Trial – star struck. She then had to choose two camp mates to join her – Joel Creasy and Barry Hall.
Chrissie had to lay down in the middle of a star while Joel guided Barry towards the star as he carried containers full of various bugs, sludge and faeces that he had to tip on Chrissie, while trying to catch ‘stars’ in cones to get meals.

In episodes to come, they have promised even worse challenges than this – so keep watching!
All in all – this show is about charity. The celebrities are putting themselves through this to win the money for their chosen charity. Good luck to them!
