Channel 7’s 800 Words is Returning for a Second Season

If you’re a fan of Channel 7’s new drama 800 Words, we have some good news for you – the show has been renewed for a second season.

The hit Aussie show, which features Packed to the Rafters‘ Erik Thomson as bereaved father George Turner, has averaged around 2 million viewers nationally each week since it launched on September 15.

“I’ve been completely taken aback by the response to the show,” Erik says. “I knew we had made something really special but the way it has been embraced by audiences has been beyond my expectations.”
