Chrissie Swan Opens Up About Her Son’s Hearing Impairment.
Being in the jungle would be hard enough, let alone being away from your loved ones – especially your children.
Chrissie Swan broke down Wednesday night on I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here when she spoke of learning that her son had a hearing impairment when he was two years old.
“He wasn’t talking, he wasn’t learning to talk. He wasn’t saying ‘mum’ or anything,” Chrissie told her fellow camp mates.

Kit, Chrissie’s second son with partner Chris, was diagnosed with 60 percent hearing in both ears. He then underwent corrective surgery, which fixed the problem.
Chrissie described her elation at realising her son could hear her when he came out of surgery.
“He was laying on me when he came out and I said something to him and he looked up at me and could hear it. It was amazing. I said to Chris ‘oh my God, he can hear me — he can hear what I’m saying!’”
