Daniel Macpherson to Star in MTV’s ‘The Shannara Chronicles.’
Newly engaged Daniel Macpherson has scored himself a new role.
He will star in MTV’s 10 episode drama based on Terry Brooks’ fantasy book series, The Shannara Chronicles.

The website states that Shannara is set in our world, thousands of years after the destruction of our civilisation. The story centres on the Shannara family, whose descendants are empowered with ancient magic and whose adventures reshape the future of the world.
He will join other new castmates Brooke Williams and Marcus Vanco.
Daniel will portray Arion, the heir to the Elvin throne. Arion takes himself very seriously and is the opposite of his wilder brother Ander. He has spent his entire life trying to show his father that he is worthy of the crown, and he’s ready to take over, but when his niece Amberle goes missing, his plans become complicated.
The show is currently filming in New Zealand.
