Ellie Drennan Crowned The Voice Australia Winner for 2015

It was a massive night for Jessie J on The Voice Australia Sunday night, with her contestant winning in her first year as a coach.

Ellie Drennan, 16, is the youngest ever person to win the show, beating busker Joe Moore to take the title.

“I honestly can’t believe I just won! This has been the most amazing experience,” said Ellie when she won, as Jessie J ran up on the stage to congratulate her.

“Thank you to all my friends and family and of course Jessie J for supporting me through this and always seeing the best in me. Thanks to everyone who voted for me and making this happen. What a ride!”

Ellie – who is the fourth ever winner of The Voice Australia, walks away with $100,000 cash, a recording contract with Universal Music and a car.

Despite a hugely successful first season, Jessie said she was unsure if she would return to appear as a coach on The Voice next year.

“I don’t know yet. Undecided, who knows.”
