Firass Dirani Makes Citizens Arrest, and Then Snaps a Selfie With the Thief

House Husbands star Firass Dirani made a citizens arrest last week, and then snapped a selfie with the thief.
Firass was enjoying lunch in Richmond, Melbourne on Tuesday when he came face to face with a man who allegedly stole meat from a local Coles.
After putting up with people stealing from his family business for years, Firass decided to take the law into his own hands.
“I had just finished lunch with my cousin and as we started driving off there was this guy who jumped in front of the car and I could tell by his energy and demeanour he was in a panic and a rush,” Firass said.
“I thought, ‘this isn’t going to happen today, it is not going to happen again on my watch. It was impulsive, I didn’t think of the repercussions or fall out.”

He chased the man for 15 minutes around the streets before finally catching him.
After taking a picture of the offender, as evidence for police, he then took some time to offer the law-breaker some “life advice”.
“I felt sorry for him,” he said. “Apparently he was stealing meat. The Coles guys told me he had done it before. After I took a photo as evidence I had to rush off because I had an audition the next day so had to go home and learn my lines. I left him with the Coles staffers.”
Police said after Firass left the offender managed to escape.
