Former Australian Idol Winner Kate DeAraugo Charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
Former Australian Idol winner Kate DeAraugo has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
Kate, 29, who has been open and honest about her days of drugs and depression, is set to appear incourt on July 31 after being charged with driving a vehicle with illicit drugs present in blood.
Her manager confirmed the news this morning saying, “Unfortunately Kate has been suffering from addiction for quite a long time and unfortunately right now she has relapsed and it is really unfortunately after all the hard work she has done to get herself back on track.”
“We are going to be helping her as her family and her management all the way through to get to the conclusion of this and get her healthy.”
