TV personality Glenn Wheeler left hospital on Thursday, 321 days since he was admitted after being involved in a critical road accident.
“He set his target that he wanted to be home for Christmas and he made it,” Glenn’s son, Dane, told Confidential. “We are just so thankful to both hospitals for giving us a chance to have him back.”
Glenn, 54, was left with head and leg injuries and placed in an induced coma after he was hit by a van while riding his motor scooter on February 1.
Since then, The Morning Show infomercial presenter and radio host has undergone treatment and rehabilitation at St George Hospital and Liverpool Brain Injury Unit.
“We are thrilled to have him home — he is absolutely pumped! Here’s to further progress and better health mate,” Dane wrote on Facebook.
